MFI is dedicated to research and teaching on current topics of migration, displacement and integration at the various policy levels: global/international, regional, national and local. Our team forms part of national and international research networks, provides policy advice and engages in knowledge transfer to policy makers and the media. Located at the Institute for Political Science, MFI connects the topics of migration and human rights, with the Equal Partnerships project hosted by the Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (CHREN).

Samuel Hall is a social enterprise that conducts research, evaluates programmes, and designs policies in contexts of migration and displacement. Our insights are based on first-hand experience. We have conducted 300+ projects in 60+ countries over 10+ years – including many of the world’s most complex and challenging contexts. Our vast network of local enumerators, researchers and partners means we are not reliant on international travel to continue our work. Where access is impossible, it becomes even more important to gain understanding of conditions on the ground and we employ tried and tested remote collection methods to address knowledge gaps and inform response.
The German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) is located in the UN City of Bonn and is one of the world’s leading research institutions and think tanks for global sustainable development.
